Herve Renard has said the Chipolopolo Boys will be better on Tuesday when they face a much tougher opponent in the India national team after beating a provincial select side, Goa XI by 4 goals to nil on Saturday.

The 43 year old described the game as average despite his boys dominating play only restricting the home side to two shots on target in 90 minutes.
“For us it was an average game and I’m sure  we will be better on Tuesday,” the Frenchman told the media at Nehru Stadium in a post match press briefing.
Though Renard expected more goals, he had to be content with the four scored as Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba  scored a brace with Evans Kangwa and Chisamba Lungu grabbed the other goals with all goals coming in a space of 20 minutes after Goa Select side had taken a lead immediately after the break.
“I was sure we going to equalise. The most difficult was scoring the first goal,” said Renard
And that equaliser came when Joseph Sitali’s defence splitting pass released Sate Sate down the middle and the 17 year old Kalampa forward beat the advancing Goa goalkeeper as the floodgates opened.
For the home side goal, Kalililo Kakonje failed to make use of height as he could didn’t with a simple aerial ball and that will raise alot of questions on the 27 year old goalkeeper who was released by TP Mazembe.

Bruce Musakanya is set to make his debut on Tuesday after missing out on Saturday

“I was expecting more goals than four (Zambia scored). Today (Saturday) I think we should have [added] scored three or more goals. In the first half were three times in front of the goal, like in-front of the keeper but we shot outside,” the French-born trainer said after the MTN Super League second top scorer Luka Lungu failed to transfer his end of the season club form to the international fold.
The Power Dynamos who got 13 goals in the league and four in Barclays Cup was replaced by top scorer in the league with 14 goals, Evans Kangwa whose 2 goals in Barclays Cup saw Nkana reach the semi finals.
The other half time substitutions saw Chisamba Lungu replace Felix Katongo while Sate Sate was introduced for Francis Kasonde as Renard reverted to the traditional 4-4-2 formation with Chisamba on the right wing and Sate Sate playing off his Kalampa strike partner Kangwa.

Luka Lungu is the leading scorer in Zambia with 17 goals but suffered stage flight after he missed two glorius chances
After ‘Sate Sate’ had equalised, it was the turn of Kangwa who smashed a Jimmy Chisenga cross into the back of the net. Chisenga had overlapped up the right flank and produced a teasing low drive cross that ‘Sate Sate’ missed but luckily Kangwa was at the end of it.
‘Sate Sate’ got the third after connecting a layoff from the left flanks and in stoppage time, Chisamba scored the goal of the match outside the 18 yard box. At about 25-yards, the Russian based playmaker showed his skills and teased his marker with his trikery and before the Goa XI player could realise, Chisa unleashed a low-drive shot that left the goalkeeper on the floor as the rampant Zambia won 4-1.
Next is India, and the much talked about Bruce Musakanya who was one of the only outfield player not to be used is set to make his international debut. Jacob Banda is also likely to start in goal ahead of Kakonje after that blunder.
